Was roaming around at flipping back the old Archives of the Monsters Blog.. Chance upon two things that I wanna share here to show my growing ups.. hahas..
First thing:
A poem that I wrote which I totally had forgotten about.. Cheers :D
to gain something, u will lose another
making a choice, but nt to hurt the other
Luxurious life is ever alluring
but the path to it may be terrifying
Love is amazingly exquisite but should not have been this appalling
Tea taste bitter but it could be the favourite,
jux for its tinge of sweetness
Having so much in life yet still nt contented,
is this how ironic life can be?
This poem features about people's demand for luxury, some worked very hard for it, some pushing themselves to the corner in order to get the luxury they desire, hurting their close one or even mere aquaintances in the path of achieving their goals.
On the other hand, plain tea may taste bitter but it do have its own sweetness, just like the life an average or poor person. Bitter yet there are tinge of sweetness. With this disguise of bitterness then only one can appreciate the sweetness more.
Love is amazing and should not be taken for granted. Showing one's love, care and concern should be in a delicate, gentle and subtle way. Not forceful. Handle it with care, its one of the world's most fragile matter.
Second Thing
On September 29 2008, I attempt this IQ-Test first time in my life and I got a score of 130. Was very happy at that moment le.. I tried it again to see whether I have improve or got more stupid.. haha.. To my Surprise! I got 16 more points! hehe..
